Lovely being back at camera club and seeing new faces. New members are always very welcome. Over the break we had a fun competition of street photography. Lots of images entered and the winning image was What's it to be by Peter Le Cointe and the runner up was by Andrew Burton titled Stopping for Lubrication. A great night to kick start the season! Well done to the winners!
Our first night back at camera club and the new season has been kicked off with a few awards. This was one of the winning images from last Christmas where members who visited our local church for a photo evening were challenged with our Christmas Tree Comp. Well done Keith Prior with your image that won Church's choice. A little something awaits you next time you are at the club. 👏👏👏👏
Our first Meeting back for the season starts at 7.30pm this Thursday 12th September on the first floor at Brockenhurst Village Hall, Highwood Rd, Brockenhurst SO42 7RY. We will be welcoming new members as well as all our lovely regulars. If you fancy coming along you can get a little taste of who we are and what we do. The most important part is sharing our passion for photography as well as making new friends who also love this great hobby. It doesn’t matter what you photograph whether it is landscapes, animals, portraits, it is about capturing that special moment and sharing it. Look forward to seeing everyone.
This chap comes recommended, for his bird photography workshops. He does a lot of great macro work too I understand.
