Club success in Town Council Competition

Lymington and Pennington Town Council held a flower competition over the summer of 2019 and encouraged members of the public to submit photographs in three categories; Wildlife and the Environment, Beds as well as Pots & Hanging Baskets. The Club helped with the judging and submitted many of the images.We also did well in the results

Congratulations to all of those who took part and the Mayor will be at the opening of our Lymington in Bloom exhibition at Lloyds Bank, Lymington High Street on 12th August where will also display all of the winners of the Council’s competition.

Solent Cafe Exhibition opens

Lymington Camera Club opened its latest exhibition called ‘On the water’ at the Solent Cafe at Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel . The exhibition features 21 photographs from ten club photographers on the theme of the Solent and sailing .

The final images were chosen by the hotel to reflect the style of the Solent Cafe, a bright and attractive bar and restaurant which is part of the leisure center at the hotel.

Chelsea Bacon, Senior Sales Executive, at the hotel said “We’re delighted to feature these great photographs at the Solent Cafe this summer. We hope our guests enjoy the exhibition and are proud to support a local Club”

The framed prints are available for sale in the Solent Cafe – just as a member of staff for details.

Summer in Lymington Exhibition opens

LCC Exhibition opening with Major

Lymington Camera Club launched its annual exhibition at Lloyds Bank in Lymington High Street.

Club members voted on Summer in Lymington as the theme for this year’s project and the selected images were by William Bonett, Sue Baker, Elaine Adkins, Gillian Strange, Alan Keats, Mark Lanigan, Ken Clark & Dave Miller

Mark Lanigan, Chairman Lymington Camera Club said “This was a great opportunity for our members to record the glorious weather and the wide range of events that took place in Lymington this summer. The photographs we produced reflect our members’ different reactions to the events that took place from cars to crabbing and carnivals to live music.”

Lymington Camera Club would like to thank the Mayor, Cllr Anna Corbridge for opening the exhibition and Lloyds Bank for giving the Club the display space.
