The day of the big move arrived, Saturday 8th December 2018 and about a quarter of the Club turned up to move us across the river from the Lymington Community Centre to MacDonald Elmer’s Court hotel. Paul’s neighbour Des was available with his flatbed to move the ‘cupboard of doom’ our sturdy storage cupboard which Keith and I still wonder how we moved in the first place.
The advanced party took the contents and the heavy crew got the cabinet and print frames onto the DesMobile and after much grunting installed in our shed at the hotel.
Maria took various images to commemorate the move plus some shots of the room, our terrace and the twentieth century loos !! Which are even heated. Who’s says the club doesn’t spoil you.
